Tile
Factory Group
In
1982 David Peel started the Tile Factory.
They were wholesalers of ceramic tiles and initially
traded from leased warehouses at Hendra on Brisbane's
Northside. Within a year of commencement, they moved
to freehold premises at Ipswich Road, Woolloongabba
and traded from that location for five (5) years. It
was then decided to establish strategic alliances with
various retailers throughout the state and eventually
partnerships were set up in several metropolitan and
provincial centres to retail tiles
